Kate Garrett

Long ago, in a land across the ocean, little Kate Garrett’s grown-ups didn’t understand her: “That girl’s nose is always in a book!” Not much has changed now that she’s her own grown up. She enjoys reading the stories of complex characters who feel like real people, regardless of genre, and yes, even if they aren’t likeable (or if they are likeable, and every single person in the book dies). She has a soft spot for short story collections as well as horror, literary fiction, and – carefully selected – chick lit novels.
